Muscat Airport is the main international airport of Oman. Located about 32 kilometers away from Muscat, the capital of Oman, Muscat Airport was formerly known as Seeb International Airport.
Opened in 1973 as Seeb International Airport, it took the place of an already existing comparatively smaller airfield, which was located in the Muscat's Bayt al Falaj Village.
